That's why we need to take the mast off, it is not so difficult.
In order to remove the mast, we need a crane to hold it by the spreaders, and we also have lanyards.
We have lanyards for the shrouds, for the stays, we just unscrew the lanyard, then we screw it, for example, to the counterpart or mark it and store separately, so you will not confuse two things with each other or lose it.
So in this way we attach the shrouds and the stays to the mast, tie it properly with some small rope, and put the mast separately.
Here we have a slightly different mount, here we usually have is such a pin, I just have such a big oylet.
It's also very simple, we unscrew everything here, you can use pliers, for example, attach it to the mast, tie it here properly, and that's it.
I removed the mast several times and it probably takes about a half of an hour.
Of course, you need a crane, the crane just holds it and you take it off there, untie all these, unscrew all these lanyards, tie everything at a leisurely pace, and it takes a half of an hour.
That's why, in my opinion, you should certainly remove the mast, if you are going to stay on the shore, for example, for a half of a year or if you stay in the place, where the wind is very strong in winter.
Or on the contrary, if you leave the sailboat and go away, and there's tropical hurricane season or something like that, you need to take the mast off for sure, this cannot be neglected.
The mast is put back in the same way, that is, you support it with a crane, in other words, a crane comes or you come to the crane, it supports the mast.
